PWRDF proud to protect refugees

The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) has signed on to the Proud to Protect Refugees campaign being launched today (World Refugee Day) by the Canadian Council for Refugees.  Archbishop Fred Hiltz, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada and President of the PWRDF Board of Directors, has posted a public letter about the Anglican Church's work with refugees through PWRDF. Over the course of my ministry I have been given a number of crosses. I still cherish the Celtic cross given at my consecration as a bishop in 1995. Like many other bishops around the world, I also have a Canterbury Cross. It's a sign of our common life and witness to Christ throughout the Anglican Communion.
